Gholamhussein Lotfi ( غلامحسین لطفی ) was born on 21 November 1949 in Ghazvin. He is a Persian actor, filmmaker and screenwriter. He received an M.A. degree in acting and a doctorate in theater. He has been in 20 films and many soap opera. He has also directed two movies. These are "The Indians" and "Pakbakhteh" in 1995.

Indi ...ans is about that Arbab Jamshid is a congregation place for the extras of Persian Film where they wait for a famous person called Chicho to take them to the movie location. There is a newcomer in this group; a young man called Davood who has traveled to Tehran from a small town with the hope of becoming an actor. Davood has got to know Ahmad Artist and Mostafa James Bond in this group. They promise to help Davood to play with Reza Beyk Imanverdi in a movie. But after a while Mostafa dies with some illness and Davood, who has no place to stay, has to become Ahmad’s roommate. Ahmad sees, all the time, in his dreams continuously that he has managed to play in a movie with Behrouz Vossoughi. Days pass and Davood runs out of money and is now content with a photo with Beikimanverdi only. A photographer of Farsi films solves this problem and afterwards nothing happens. After this, Davood, like many of the guys in Arbab Jamshid, passes days after days waiting in vain.
