Like a Butterfly is about that Journalist Behrouz, inquisitive by nature, muses over a question he has long asked himself: ...'Why do intellectuals from the East die in the West?' He embarks on a journey to Paris to decide for himself. Once there, he makes an attempt to connect with an old friend, Ala, only to receive an enormous shock. Behrouz resolves to get to the bottom of things, with the assistance of Parvaneh, Ala’s love. A brooding, intriguing mystery in a Parisian setting, this film contemplates life, love, and loss overseas. Nora is about that Noura, a juvenile daughter of a forester family who live a simple and modest life, is injured through an accident. Her wounds are healed with the care of the family, but a surprising disaster occurs suddenly. Noura is paralyzed as a result of the accident. The family decide to take her to the city for treatment but they cannot afford that, so they postpone their decision. Niaz, the older brother of Noura, who blames himself for the accident, decides to take her to a holy tomb (Imamzadeh) in their region to ask for health. The Imamzadeh is located on top of a mountain and Niaz has to carry his sister through an impassable path to the holy tomb. Neither A difficult path, nor a heavy rain or the lack of proper means and physical power prevent him reaching the tomb. He asks Imamzadeh to help Noura walking on her own feet. Whisper is about that Two brothers and a sister who come to Tehran to earn more money, finally manage to gain a negligible income. The older brother has heard from his seniors that boys should be circumcised at an early age and he thinks that it is time for his younger brother to do this, So he convinces him to go to the hospital. The hospital asks them to come with their parents. The older brother seeks all the day for a senior to bring to the hospital, and this is when he reaches a new understanding of things and the people surrounding him while encountering with lots of unknowns. The Traveller from the South is about that Reza, a boy on the verge of his teens, takes an overnight train from the south of Iran to visit his aunt in Tehran during a public holiday. En route, he helps an old lady recover some stolen money and jewelry, and when they reach the capital he insists on seeing her safely to the airport, whence she's flying to Germany to visit her son. Reza's selfless gesture turns into an obsessive mission. At the airport, the old lady has a mild heart attack and is eventually hospitalised... Don is about that Don is the story of a young boy desperate to find work to help support his family and heroin addicted parents. Moving from employer to employer, Don, aged only 9 and illiterate, faces an almost impossible task without an identity card. Part of the Iranian New Wave, Abolfazl Jalili's use of non-actors gives the film the feeling of a documentary, as performers recreate lives so close to their own. From Don's point of view, the world is a tough place, but his determination to make the most of his situation is heartwarming.
