En route, he helps an old lady recover some stolen money and jewelry, and when they reach the capital he insists on seeing her safely to the airport, whence she's flying to Germany to visit her son. Reza's selfless gesture turns into an obsessive mission. At the airport, the old lady has a mild heart attack and is eventually hospitalised... The White Balloon is about that A little girl is given money on New Year’s to buy a goldfish. She has an hour and a half to buy one but her money gets trapped underneath an iron grate. A number of strangers try to help her and try to hustle the girl for her money. The innocent little girl learns how important negotiation is in her small town.
