Mir-Sadreddin Shajareh was born in Zanjan. After winning an elocution competition at 15, he joined the state radio and began working with many of the veterans of the industry. He then began studying Dentistry at the National University of Iran but his love for radio resulted in him never pursuing dentistry as a profession.
He is one of the few presenters who has an honorary master's degree in mc control which is given to presenters with outstanding ability in elocution and improvisation.
