A House Like a City is about that Javaad is the eldest son of his family, and regardless of his mother's objections, heads to the city to know more about the shootings. When no one hears from him until the next day's afternoon, the father also goes to the city in order to find his son. There he finds a tumbled city, all devastated and ruined. There have been battles and a group of people are injured, and amongst them is Javaad who's also been shot.
