The Lost Land is about that Many years ago, young men joined the "Democratic Party of Azerbaijan" to defend it, but the rule of this party lasted only a year. Soon, the soldiers and influential figures of the party were arrested and exiled to Siberia. Now, after sixty years, each of them resides in one of the liberated territories of the Soviet Republics and longs for the opportunity to revisit their homeland.
