This remarkable documentary focuses on the lives of Iran's Afghan population, and its trials and tribulations. Mostly made up of refugees fleeing the 1978 Saur Revolution, the community faces problems obtaining citizenship, and as a result, sustainable education and work. We take a look at several Afghans’ fight to survive, as well as listen to their conflicted views on life in Iran. Despite the daily struggle to get by, we learn that many flock to one outlet to escape – poetry. Honest and touching, this is an eye-opening look at Iran from an alternative perspective.
