Mehdi Hosseinivand is a film editor from Tehran, Iran who graduated from the Iran Broadcasting University (IRIBU). He is known for his work in the musical film The Santoor Player (Santoori), the comedy film Mum's Guest (Mehmane Maman) both directed by Dariush Mehrjui, and 'Che' (2014), a biographical war film directed by Ebrahim Hatamikia. Mehdi Hosseinivand also edited Fereydoon Hassandoust's 2016 feature film Pomegranate Stew (Nardoon).
