I am a Mother - Man Madar Hastam - من مادر هستم

'I Am a Mother' tells the story of Nahid, a young mother who claims responsibility for the murder of Saeed, the man who raped her daughter, in order to spare her daughter from qisas, the law of equal punishment. As Saeed's relatives clamour for capital punishment and close families clash in the courtroom, Nahid ponders the sacrifice she has made for her child, a decision she believes any mother would make. But will that be enough to liberate her from the barbs of her community and help her on the road to redemption?
