Alireza Alavian was born on 17 December 1975 in Tehran, Iran. He is a renowned sound designer and producer, nominated on three occasions for the Crystal Simorgh by the Fajr Film Festival. He won two such awards, for Anahita (2010) and Che (2014). Alireza Alavian's career as a sound designer began as a sound engineer's assistant at a cinema. He then took up a sound designing role in 'Saalad-e fasl' (2005).
