Searching in the City is about that Mehri and Amir get separated due to some issues while they have a young child. Years later, Mehri who has been trying to pursue her dreams, is hopeless and her ideas have evolved during the Islamic revolution so she decides to go after her husband and child. Eventually, she finds them but Amir rejects her. The child who understands the mother's love, escapes home in search of her but he is taken to a hospital due to his illness.
