The Bright House is about that When Sohrab returns to Tehran after ten years abroad, he makes it a priority to see his old friend, Kiou ...mars, a teacher and respected figure in the community who treated him like a son. The Wind's Letters is about that A group of soldiers from some remote regions of the country are sent out to a garrison around Tehran to spend their military service. Silence of the Sea is about that Siavash Irani who has been living in Sweden for a long time suddenly loses everything he has and decides to go back to Iran. Destiny drives him to Qeshm; an island in south of Iran. You need a license to go from there to the rest of Iran. Siavash misses his family. He talks to his wife on his phone all the time. He finally finds his old pal, Hossein, in Khoram-Abad and that helps him forget the homesickness. Hossein tells Siavash not to exit the island because of the troubles he might get into but Siavash doesn't listen to him and keeps looking for a way out. Then Siavash meets some people who want to exit Iran. Despite what Siavash says, a guy named Abdo starts his one way trip. So does Siavash. He rents a boat and goes towards Bandar-Abbas but in the middle of the way, the boatman hesitates and takes him back to Qeshm.
