It is clear from the opening scene that travel is the main theme of this film, as indicated by its opening scene; train slowly rolling its way into a railway station. What ensues is an anthropological exploration of rural life in Iran. As the film progresses, we the audience are allowed a given a glimpse into the family lives of Iranians who live untouched by the tremors of modern urbanization. A fascinating view into a relatively unexplored terrain.
