The Fifth Man - Marde Panjom - مرد پنجم

Following the 1953 Iranian coup d'état, an incident leads to the arrest of a physician, named Abol-Ghasem. Along with some of the members of an organization, which opposed to the Shah’s regime, he is exiled and sent to a southern island. There are some notable features in Abol-Ghasem’s behavior and attitude, which cause some tensions among the deportees. In fact, Abol-Ghasem’s presence in that island provides an opportunity for the others to conduct some kind of reassessment on their own personalities.

بعد از کودتای ۲۸ مرداد سال ۱۳۳۲، پزشکی به نام ابوالقاسم طی اتفاقی دستگیر و به همراهی گروهی از اعضای یک تشکیلات مخالف رژیم شاه به جزیره ای در جنوب تبعید می شود. حضور ابوالقاسم به دلیل تفاوتی که در رفتار و منش او وجود دارد، تنش هایی را در میان تبعیدشدگان به وجود می آورد و این فرصتی است برای دیگران تا به ارزیابی مجدد خود بپردازند.
