Parviz Shahbazi ( پرویز شهبازی ) was born in 1962 in Tehran. Shahbazi is a graduate of filmmaking from Tehran's Iran Broadcasting College. During the early 80s he began writing short stories and directing short films. He edited several films and directed 12 short films before making his first feature film, 'Traveller from the South'

Whisper is about that Two brothers and a sister who come to Tehran to earn more money, finally manage to gain a negligible income. The older brother has heard from his seniors that boys should be circumcised at an early age and he thinks that it is time for his younger brother to do this, So he convinces him to go to the hospital. The hospital asks them to come with their parents. The older brother seeks all the day for a senior to bring to the hospital, and this is when he reaches a new understanding of things and the people surrounding him while encountering with lots of unknowns.
