Born in 1979 in Tehran, Mehdi Golestaneh is a graduate of Dramatic Literature. He began his career in 1995 as assistant director in television. Starting from 2006, he began directing several television films and series. He made his debut feature film BIG TROUBLE in 2010. He is mostly known for his film "Nazanin" (2013).
