My Silent Shadow is about that A woman finds herself in a mortal predicament as wandering across the desert she is left stranded amidst a minefield. A rocking explosion sends a group of sheep scurrying and the corpse of a dead sheep forewarns her of her likely fate. With her strength waning, the woman spots her son Hammad among a procession looking for a missing girl. However, with even Hammad unable to immediately find the help, the woman panics, ready to collapse at any moment. It is only with the help of her family and friends that the woman may escape alive; however, this is not possible without them risking their own safety. Zero Degree Orbit is about that 'Zero-Degree Orbit' observes a war-stricken humanity preceding the Iran-Iraq war. The film explores the wounded psyche of the inhabitants of the Iranian borders while focusing on a man who constantly travels around accompanied by his mentally ill son. Their lives, which are eternally haunted by the ambiguous killings of two family members, let the film explore all impacts of war: humans are severely traumatised and the setting which is equally mournful echoes with clarity the tragedies of the past.
