Falling is about that Karim Azimi's short film is a dream-like meditation on the fragile line between survival and death. Set in the haunting backdrop of a desert landscape, strange figures carry fish bowls back and forth in a metaphoric struggle to sustain life. The images are powerful and evocative in their juxtaposition of the familiar with the surreal, and the atmospheric sound effects add further allure to the captivating visual scenes.
