«محمود» از این پیشنهاد که مدل لباس باشد استقبال می کند، او برخلاف همسرش «شیوا» که با ورود او به دنیای مد و تغییر حرفه اش مخالف است باور دارد که دنیای جدیدی به روی او گشوده شده است... ادامه ی مخالفت های «شیوا»، محمود را که حالا نامش «بیژن» است! از همسرش دور می کند و در این حال حضور زنی تازه به نام «افرا»، توجه او را جلب می کند و رفته رفته شیفته ی او می شود و «شیوا» نیز به جای پیشه کردن حرکتی منطقی، همچنان در انتظار عملیات ریاکارانه ای فالگیران برای بازگرداندن محمود به زندگی مشترکشان است! محمود متدرجاً گرفتار غرور و خودبزرگ بینی شده و از شخصیت واقعی اش دور می افتد، اما ناگهان روی دیگر سکه، ناکامی و شکست را نیز تجربه می کند. در این حال «شیوا» که خود را بازیافته به «محمود» کمک می کند تا بازگشتی به خویشتن خویش داشته باشد.
