This deeply intimate portrait of an Iranian woman's life, this film documents the life of Habibeh Bedayat, a self-taught painter who has created over 4000 works of art. Scenes of Habibeh conducting her everyday life allow us a fascinating glimpse into the philisophies of a strongly independent wife, mother, teacher, and artist. As we learn more about her upbringing in Pre-Revolution Iran, we come to understand exactly how much Habibeh has sacrificed in order to become the free-willed person she is today.
