A family is going on a trip to one of the northern cities where they find a suitcase. A struggle comes up between the two couples regarding to gain the suitcase or to return it to its owner. The young man believes that they should find out about its contents while the old man disagrees and insists on returning the suitcase without any change in it. The struggle continues.

خانواده ای در راه سفر به یکی از شهرهای شمالی کشور، چمدانی را پیدا میکنند. کشمکش برای تصاحب چمدان و یا بازگرداندن آن بین سرنشینان اتومبیل که دو زوج جوان و میانسال هستند در میگیرد. مرد جوان معتقد است که باید از محتوای چمدان با اطلاع شد و پیرمرد نظرش مغایر اوست و اصرار دارد که شرط امانتداری بازگرداندن چمدان بدون هرگونه تصرفی است. کشمکش ادامه دارد. پایان ماجرا درست خلاف آن چیزی است که دو زوج تصورش را دارند.
