The Queen - Malakeh - ملکه

This thrilling film takes place during the Iran-Iraq war, and questions the idea of what it means to follow the righteous path. Scout Siavash endeavours to reveal the geographical coordinates of Iraqi soldier ambushes, in the hope of giving the Iranian army an advantage over the enemy. Meanwhile, he is confronted with the soul of a deceased scout (Mostafa Zamani) who worked on the same task. Siavash engages in an internal struggle as he is contemplates the morals of killing innocent people just because they are labelled as the enemy. A refreshing perspective on the Iran-Iraq war.
