Mahmud is a dedicated scriptwriter and cinema enthusiast who has just finished shooting an 8mm film and now hopes to get it remade as a full-length feature. He fails however to convince the production company to grant him the resources he needs, so together with his close friend Hassan, he starts acting out the story in real life.
