The Iranian re-imagining of the classic Russian play, written by Anton Chekhov. The play centers around an aristocratic woman and her family as they return to their old home just before it gets auctioned. The cherry orchard around the house symbolizes the past and also the family. As they lose the estate, the time comes to cut out the cherry orchard for now and forever. The play represents the bourgeoisie and how society becomes fully materialistic in the early 20th century.
