Tall Shadows of the Wind - Sayehaye Bolande Bad - سایه های بلند باد

This film is based on a four page short story by Golshiri, which together we expanded it into an 85 page script. It is the story of building a scare-crow in a village and how through some events and superstition the scare-crow turns into a revered symbol.

In the planting season, a scarecrow is put in the field as usual. From that time on, due to the superstitious and traditional habits of the villagers, gradually a nightmare is made from the scarecrow. Mohammad, the headmaster of the school, is informed of this and along with Abdollah, the chauffeur and the only connector between the village and the city, stand against the villagers and deny their beliefs. At the same time, anyone who sees the scarecrow acts weirdly thereafter. However, Abdollah sneers at this situation and after a gamble, he goes towards the scarecrow and after a combat, he gets injured and dies. finally, Mohammad decides to keep on fighting…

در فصل کاشت ، مترسکی طبق رسم و عادت معمول در کشتگاه می کارند . از آن پس، به لحاظ عادات خرافی و سنتی ده در برخورد با متر سک اهالی از آن متدرجا" یک کابوس می سازند. "محمد " مدیر و معلم مدرسه که از موضوع آگاه شده و " عبدالله" راننده و تنها رابط ده و شهر سعی در مبارزه ی روبه رو گرفته و اعتقادات اهالی را به هیچ میگیرند . در این زمان هریک از اهالی ده که با مترسک برخورد می کنند به حالتی غریب میرسند. اما عبدالله با این وضع با پوزخند روبرو میشود و در نہایت در یک شرط بندی به طرف مترسک میرود و در رویارویی زخم برمی دارد و میمیرد : در انتها محمد تصمیم میگیرد که مبارزه را ادامه دهد...
