'Taftan' follows the unique life of Mohammad-amin Sistani as he undertakes the decoration of a mosque in a poor, secluded desert village near the Taftan Mountains. Making tiles himself out of broken stones finds in the area, Sistani's work is incredibly beautiful. This documentary provides wonderful insight into his creative process and philosophy.
