An Iranian saffron farmer chooses to continue with his plans of fertilizing his saffron crop, against all the odds. With the environmental risks and arid conditions, his treasured plants may wilt in the desert heat. Scenes of flowing water contrast with the apparently hostile and unforgiving land, as he optimistically battles through his trials. A charming but realistic portrait of the difficulties that come with the choice of an agricultural life in rural Iran.
