A miser's failing health and imminent death is a source of delight for his sons in-law, who rub their hands at the thought of the profits. Little do they anticipate their father in-law's speedy recovery, throwing a spanner in the works. The men formulate a plan - they will take their frail old relative on the most exhilarating trip of his life in the hope he might not be able to handle the excitement along the way.
