A group of soldiers from some remote regions of the country are sent out to a garrison around Tehran to spend their military service. They all wish to see a great city like Tehran. Among them, there is a soldier who records people's voice and then listen to them while being alone. A one-day vacation is given to him and he calls the families of his friends and plays the recorded voices of their children for them and then he records voices of people in the city - the girls in particular - to bring and play it for his friends in the garrison.

گروهی سرباز از مناطق دورافتاده کشور، برای انجام خدمت وظیفه به پادگانی در اطراف تهران اعزام می شوند. تقریباً همه سربازان در آرزوی دیدن ابرشهر بزرگ تهران هستند. در میان آنها، سربازی است که تنهایی خود را با ضبط کردن صدای مردم و بعد گوش کردن به آنها در اوقات فراغت پر میکند.سرباز در جریان یک مرخصی تشویقی یک روزه، ضمن رساندن پیام های ضبط شده هم دوره ای هایش از طریق تلفن به خانواده های آنها، در شهر به راه می افتد و صدای رهگذران و به خصوص دختران را ضبط میکند تا پس از بازگشت به پادگان، آنها را برای دوستانش پخش کند.
