Cologne-based Iranian director Alireza Kushk-Jalili heads this production of the German playwright Helmut Krausser's "Leatherface," a study of troubled relationships in the modern world. Dark and brooding, themes such as loneliness and coldness within partnerships abound. War is also touched upon, and the play shows how efforts to change the world through violent means are ultimately fruitless.
