Maryam is an independent girl. After his father retires, she takes over his father's sculpture workshop and despite having many suitors, doesn't want to get married in order to preserve her independence. Contrary to her, is her cousin, Naghmeh, who doesn't ... have any suitors at all and has gotten depressed because of it. She even has tried to kill herself, but was saved. When Maryam finds out about Naghmeh's critical condition, suggests her uncle to propose for his daughter. Maryam's idea creates a buzz in the family but she believes it is not a bad thing at all, and has even been a tradition in India. Maryam accepts this task herself and the best person who comes to her mind is a young guy named Ali, who works in her workshop. Maryam talks to Ali and insists that this will be a fake proposal. Ali accepts but says that he has a problem and that's not having parents. Maryam and her friends get him fake parents too, but in the middle of their matchmaking session, they get exposed. The uncle and his daughter leave angrily. During the preparations, Maryam finds out that Ali is actually in love with her. Maryam's father fires Ali, and in order to apologize, Maryam finds his home, and finds out his words that he is a poor guy, were all lies. Indeed his bank account and parents are all pretty good. Maryam, who isn't uninterested in Ali, tries to find out his secret and reconcile his relation with her family, but Ali is bothered and leaves her. Maryam's uncle is preparing for his daughter's wedding when he sees Maryam's desperate situation. He suggests her to propose to Ali. Ali starts the session with humiliating Maryam, who later tells everything before leaving his house. Later that night, Ali who has made Maryam's sculpture, goes to her door with a bouquet of flowers and a love letter.
