'Half-Life Nature' is a documentary criticizing the progress of industrialization in Tehran, and charting the correlation of such industrialization with the destruction of nature. In a condemnation of the speed in which Tehran is becoming more and more urbanized, the film covers an array of the environmental issues blighting the city's wildlife and human populations. Noise, deforestation, pollution, and the resulting decline of the bird population all come under fire in Omid Abdollahi's awareness-rousing short.
