Taking place in a remote village in rural Iran, this minimalistic film depicts the daily lives of young girls in this environment. They go about their daily work, which involves sewing, washing clothes and herding sheep; the film gives a clear sense of the lack of opportunity and proper education within such conditions. Even at school the lessons centre around prayer, and wishing for the cultivation of the land. One girl is dragged home by her angry father from school to get back to the daily grind of work she is locked into. An honest and beautifully shot depiction of the life of young girls living in rural Iran.
