In rural Iran, an elderly musician and his wife spend the quiet rituals of the day together: drinking tea, sharing a meal. Later, the man performs a circumcision on a young village boy, and celebrations ensue to his music-playing. He plays once more at a funeral, as the cycles of life and death overlap in this gentle glimpse into traditional village life in Iran.
