Colors of Memory - Minaye Shahre Khamoosh - مینای شهر خاموش

The film relates the story of a surgeon who returns to Iran after living in Germany for 33 years. Arriving in Tehran, Doctor Pārsā performs a heart operation on the nephew of the family friend Mr Ghanāti. Mr Ghanāti urges him to travel with him to his home town, Bam.

After 33 years living in Germany, Dr. Bahman Parsa comes back to Iran to operate a person who has been wounded in the war. Having divorced his German wife, he looks depressed. He meets an old friend of his father, named Ghanavati, in Tehran. After a while, being accompanied by a young driver, they set off for Dr. Parsa’s birthplace, the city of Bam… There, Dr. Parsa looks for his past, his origins, and his interests. Meanwhile, he also looks forward for the love of his teenage years,Mina. He comes up with some unknown truths about his parents, then ...

دکتر بهمن پارسا، پس از سی و سه سال زندگی در آلمان، برای عمل جراحی یکی از مجروحان جنگ به ایران می آید. او که از همسر آلمانی اش جدا شده و حالتی افسرده و خاموش دارد، در تهران با یکی از دوستان قدیمی پدرش، پیرمردی به نام «قنواتی» دیدار کرده و بعد از مدتی همراه یک راننده ی جوان عازم زادگاه دکتر پارسا، در «بم» می شوند...
«پارسا» در «بم»، گذشته، ریشه ها و علایقش را می جوید و در عین حال در جست و جوی نشانی از عشق دوران نوجوانی اش «مینا» بر می آید و در این حال به حقایق تازه ای درباره ی والدینش می رسد...
