This fascinating documentary takes a look at a woman who makes a living from singing at religious events in Iran. These events, which cater for women only, pay extremely well, and our protagonist is able to make a tidy sum. A riveting glimpse into a hidden world, the film sheds light on female singing in Iran, which is usually forbidden. These events, however, are the exception to the rule. A must see.
