... the time... Susan was a reporter for the Los Angeles Times newspaper and upon coming back to America, takes on her previous job. She writes articles and does research on street gangs, unaware of the fact that her own son is connected to one of these gangs... During one of her investigations, Susan takes a photo of Carlos, a criminal gangster, committing a murder. He takes Bobby as a hostage and asks Susan to hand him the negatives... Susan informs Bijan of what has happened when calling Tehran. Bijan goes back to LA immediately. When he finds a track of Carlos, he attacks them without telling the cops, and saves Bobby from a burning stable... After this incident, Susan decides to never leave her husband again and live wherever he is.
