Rahman is apparently a foundling. On the contrary, he is a son of vow and his mother received him as a gift through appealing to Imam Mahdi. Every year on the 15th of Shaban, Rahman goes to the shrine - Ghadamgah - to fulfill his decennial vow. In his last ... visit, Rahman has a dream through which his life is totally changed. He believes that he can find his parents. the villagers make fun of Rahman. They make him back to the shrine to get his vow done. Ayyoob, a young villager, does some investigations and realizes Rahman’s secret. The villagers had uttered some maliciously false imputations about Rahman’s mother, Goohar. After Goohar had given birth to Rahman, the villagers accused her of having an illegitimate son. Thereby, they had severely beaten and then murdered her. Rahman finds about this secret. The villagers also realize that Goohar had been wrongly accused, so they are conscience-stricken. Meanwhile, Rahman finds out that his beloved girl, Hannaneh, is getting married to another guy. Unpretentiously and indifferently, he attends their wedding ceremony. Also as the villagers are celebrating the 15th of Shaban, Rahman joins them and he himself revolves the Imam’s flag. On the next day, the villagers, gladly assuming that they had been forgiven by Rahman, realize that he has left them and their village forever.
