About The Pillowman
This Olivier-award winning, 2004 play, by Irish playwright Martin McDonagh, centers around a writer whose violent short stories bring him to the attention of police. The stories, which often feature terrible violence against children, are frighteningly similar to a string of murders that have been perpetrated in the town. The writer and his brother are implicated. An ambitious take on McDonagh's brutal and unforgettable play from directors Mohammad Yaghoubi and Aida Keykhaie.
