In a remote village beside the sea in the north of Iran the villagers see a boat approaching them. In the ship is a wounded man Ayat who can not remember what happened to him. A widow Ra'na becomes interested in him which causes tensions with the family of
... the widow's husband. After a while, the villagers ask Ayat to choose a wife from them but he chooses Ra'na and this causes troubles in the village. On the night of their marriage, a wolf is attacking the village.
