Doctor Naser Khavari, who is also a social aid, cannot forget the memory of his close friend Behrouz being drowned. His fiancee, Doctor Simin Rouhani who is a social aid too, expresses her discomfort about his husband devoting more time for his clients than the family. Nevertheless, she sincerely stands with him. They have made the large courtyard of a house belonging to a wealthy woman called Ma'erf a place for their aids. The clients with whom Naser has been so busy treating are, among others, Kokab, her children (Arezou and Mehdi), and their addicted father on the one hand, and Yahya, her sister, and their rude father on the other hand. Mrs. Maref's grandson, Ramyar, is also in a conflict with his father, and this makes another case of which Naser has taken care with sympathy and compassion. He has actually managed to bring back peace to their lives. Some day, an accident causes him to pay more attention to himself for a short period of time. Naser and Simin decide to travel abroad for pursuing their advanced course studies for which both have successfully passed the entrance exam. But Naser refuses at the last moment and prefers to continue helping his clients.
