Motherland is about that Professor Snider has presented a theory claiming that turtles will go back to their birthplace after 30 years and his theory is pursued by Amirali. Amirali meets Marleneh, the professor's grandchild, and gets some documents and evidence regarding the theory which were gathered 30 years ago on Qeshm island. He sends the documents to his mother, Mrs. Sharifi, and after ensuring the results of the previous experiment, Mrs.Sharifi decides to send another generation of turtles to the sea; so she goes to Qeshm.
