Taraneh Alidoosti ( ترانه عليدوستی ) was born on 12 January 1984 in Tehran. In 2000 she started visiting Amin Tarokh's acting school. Soon she was cast for her first role in I Am Taraneh, I Am Fifteen Years Old (2002), which brought her a Silver Leopard at the 55th Locarno Film Festival and a Cristal Simorgh at the Fajr Film Festival. Being extremely selective, she made her next appearance in Asghar Farhadi's Beautiful City (2004). Taraneh Alidoosti has also worked on Fireworks Wedn ...esday (2006), About Elly (2009), Canaan (2008), and Doubt (2009). She has also appeared in two of Mohammad Rahmanian's theatre plays. In 2016, she plays Rana, the female lead in Asghar Farhadi's last feature film 'The Salesman' which reaped 2 palms at Cannes Film Festival for Best Actor (Shahab Hosseini) and Best Screenplay.

Doubt is about that Siavash Rouzbehan has recently lost his father and now his uncle is taking care of his family. Siavash loves his cousin, Mahtab whose father, Anwari, used to be his father's steward, and is now very close to his uncle. Siavash's curiosity leads him to realize that his father wasn't killed in an accident, but he was murdered.
