Women's Prison is about that Manijeh Hekmat's controversial film won awards at the Rotterdam and Fribourg film festivals. It tells the harrowing story of Mitra and Mrs Yousefi, two contrasting women on opposite sides of the prison system, during a two decade period starting in 1979.
