Tootiya is about that Iraj Ghaderi's domestic drama challenges the roles of men and women in society. Shaghayegh is the executive manager of the 'Independent Women's Cooperative', an organization that is currently trying to fund the c ...onstruction of a medical complex for local children. The project is in desperate need of money, and so Shaghayegh asks her husband Siavash to look after the house while she works round the clock to raise the necessary funds. When Siavash takes exception to this, resentful of his independent, hard-working wife, the clash of outdated ideals threatens to destroy the very relationship for which they are working so hard to build a future.
