Mohammad Ahmadi ( محمد احمدی) is an Iranian cinematographer and producer known for his cinematography in The Apple (1998) and The Day I Became A Woman (2000). His debut as a director in Poet of the Wastes (2005) awarded him the Ecumenical Prize at the Molodist International Film Festival Kiev in 2006.

Poet of the Wastes is about that After desperately looking for a job, a young man is hired as a sweeper in the city. Amongst colleagues there is a habit of exploring trash bags to see what life brings. The young sweeper of the story finds a trash bag full of torn papers; pieces of a letter, and another, full of torn papers again, with love poems written on them. Flight From The Camp is about that Major pilot, Abbas Helmi, is captured by the Iraqi forces in an identification operation following his access to some important information. The Iraqi forces transfer him to the ordinary captives' camp to intimidate Abbas and torture him. When the camp prisoners are informed about Abbas's situation, they decide to provide a means to his escape. In the time of escape, the plot is revealed but Abbas somehow succeeds to deceive the Iraqis and escape from the camp along with a trooper and a Basiji. They are unaware that the Iraqis are lurking over their paths.
