Born in Tehran in 1966, Mehran Malakouti has been active as assistant cinematographer (in Dariush Mehrjui’s PARI, Seifollah Daad’s THE SURVIVOR and Abbas Kiarostami’s TASTE OF CHERRY) and sound-recordist (in Ahmad Reza Darvish’s BORN UNDER LIBRA, Fereydoun Jeyrani’s RED and Reza Mirkarimi’s AS SIMPLE AS THAT).
