Djahangir Almasi ( جهانگیر الماسی ) was born in 1955 in Tehran. He is an Iranian actor. He has played different roles in his career, but he is known mainly as an actor who plays serious and intellectual roles. He started his career with Stemming from Blood (1984) and has also directed a short film.

Beast's Chimney is about that Mohammad Ali who is injured during a demonstration, returns to his village called Mohammad Abad. There is an aqueduct in the village which has been dried by digging a deep well and has caused the villagers to be wandered. After a while, he decides to dredge the aqueduct with his friend of childhood Seyed Reza and his father. The owner of the deep well finds out about their decision and tries to dig another deep well. Mohammad Ali resists him, and when the owner sees that they are dredging the aqueduct unceasingly, he kills the father of Seyed Reza and blocks the aqueduct pathway to kill Mohammad Ali too. The villagers bury Mohammad Ali and Seyed Reza' father while they are watching the water flowing from the dredged aqueduct to their village. Behind the Curtain of Fog is about that Morteza is a boy who has recently lost his father and lives with his mother. He has hearing problems and uses hearing aids. Grandfather is about that Grandfather lives in a house With his son Hosein and his wife Fakhri who are both bank employees, and also his grandson Mohammad.
