Born in 1967, Hamid Nematollah ( حمید نعمتالله ) began his film career at the age of sixteen, making 8 mm films. Since then, he has become an experienced filmmaker working in all aspects of film and television. He has been a critic for Cinematographic Magazine, as well as a scriptwriter and program director for television. He has served as an Assistant Director for many renowned Iranian Directors and has made several short films in both 16 mm and Video format. B
...OUTIQUE was his first feature film which won the best actress award in 3 Continents Film Festival in Nantes in 2004. His second feature, PENNILESS, received the audience award in Fajr 2009.
