Eskandar Abadi is an actor, appearing in German short The Awakening (2010). Being a man of many talents, he is best known as an accomplished academic, satirist, fiction writer and musician. He began his studies at the Faculty of Law and Political Science of the University of Tehran, continuing at the universities of Frankfurt and Marburg in Political and Linguistics Studies. In 1997 Abadi obtained a PhD in General and Germanic Linguistics, writing a thesis on auctoriality and narrative perspecti ...ve in Thomas Mann's Der Zauberberg and to this day has over a dozen academic and literary works published. He currently resides in Bonn, Germany, where he works as editor of the Persian Radio Service.
